With this design, not only are we honoring Rick Mears’ win in the 75th running of the Indianapolis 500, we’re celebrating one of the race’s grandest traditions. Since 1946, “(Back Home Again in) Indiana” has been sung during pre-race festivities, effectively becoming the unofficial state song of Indiana.
